Global Public Procurement Database (GPPD)

The GPPD is a World Bank initiative with the objective of meeting the increasing demand, from both the public and the private sectors, for a comprehensive global knowledge product that captures data about country procurement systems and country eProcurement implementations at a global level. Valent led the Feasibility Study and created the functional design, technical specifications, creation of use cases, implementation plans, high-level communications strategy, and risk/mitigation plan. Valent also worked with the Task Team Leader (TTL) and a technology vendor to develop a solution design for the system based on the results of the Feasibility Study and supported communications and launch efforts.
